Markets & Events

Hay-on-Wye is one of Wales' great market towns. Every Thursday, forty traders fill the square with fresh produce, local food and artisan goods. Monthly Saturday markets run April to October. It's a brilliant reason to visit, and while you're here, we're just around the corner on Broad Street.

What to expect

A farm located in in the moutains, with sheep herd
The counter is well-stocked and clearly laid out. Staff are on hand to help with cuts, quantities, and cooking advice.

If you're new to buying from a butcher, don't worry - our friendly team are happy to help. Just ask!
We take card and cash.

Parking is available nearby in the Hay-on-Wye town car parks.

The counter changes with the seasons, but there's always something worth coming in for. Our own farm beef and pork sits alongside seasonal lamb, poultry and game.

A deli range, ready-to-cook cuts, handmade pasties and pastries, and lunch bites for if you're just passing through.

A cow eating grass
The quality starts long before the counter. It starts in the fields, with the soil, the pasture, and the grain we grow ourselves. By the time the meat reaches you, we've been looking after it for the best part of a year.
